8 Bit Art Finds: The Falcon from Final Fantasy VI

Gannondork on Etsy is selling beautiful reproduction prints of a painting they made of the Falcon Airship from Final Fantasy VI.

The 18x6 inch print featuring all the playable characters from Final Fantasy VI. It is quite beautiful and I would totally hang this piece over my bed or in my bathroom if it was big enough.

The reprint sells for $45 plus shipping.

Psychonaut's Raz is a Plushie!

Iam8bit.com is selling an officially licensed Raz from Psychonaut's plushie and it is freaking pretty damn sweet looking. It stand 15 inchs tall and looks soft as a kitty. A warm kitty that will sit on your face and try to kill you in the night. Cats are jerks.

It is going for $35 (I assume US dollars which means a billion dollars in Canadian dollars right now..) on the site and will start shipping in December just in time for the holidays.

Finally Pixelized Creations is reopened with a fully stocked store. I have all the awesome items I used to sell through Pixelated Creations like Final Fantasy VI characters, Chrono Trigger characters, Earthbound character sets, and more.

Buy this: Supernatural - Castiel Inspired Necklace

I am a huge Supernatural fan and I have been trying to find items to get from the series to wear on my person without scaring people into thinking I am a devil worshiper. It's hard enough to talk about the show in public without people looking at you funny when you mention how much you miss Lucifer or how the Metatron is a dick.

I found this amazing Supernatural inspired necklace on Etsy.com by artist, Jessica in her store, Jinxy Jewels. I love the simple, yet elegant design and the beautiful quote from my favorite angel, Castiel.

I look forward to getting my necklace in the mail in a few weeks and wearing it out in public without any strange looks. Much better choice than my original idea - the anti-possession symbol. 

Should I buy it?: Batman: Widening Gyre with custom Batman art.

So for my birthday I bought myself a copy of Batman: Cacophony with a custom piece of Batman artwork on the inside cover by artist, Walt Flanagan. It was a steal at $19.99 and it came all the way from Red Bank, New Jersey from Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash Comic Book Store, Home of the Comic Book Men TV show!

I am a big Kevin Smith fan and a Batman fan, so this was a cool buy.

So now the Secret Stash is offering Batman: Widening Gyre with custom Batman artwork by Walt Flanagan for $27.99, and I really want that too. Should I buy it?

Wicked New App for iPhone - SMule: Ocarina

I've been meaning to upgrade my iPod touch to allow download from the app store but every time I see cool app that using the built in microphone which the iPod touch doesn't have and I always change my mind.

I spotted a new app today which uses the built-in mic feature on the iPhone and I am so pissed that I don't have it on my iPod now. The SMule: Ocarina for the iPhone allows users to play a touch screen ocarina which allows you to blow into the built-in mic to simulate blowing into a real ocarina.

This app is so cool but I can't use it. BOOO!

Play Arts' New Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Figures

For those rabid action figure collectors and Final Fantasy fans out there, Play Arts has released details on a new set of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII figures to be available for sale in January 2009.

The collection will include Zack, Cloud and Aerith, all in their Crisis Core forms. The figures will be made of PVC and stand about 7 inches tall. They will be available for pre-order at $19.99 each or in a set for $58.39, which is 20% off the retail price after the figure official hit store shelves.
