First Minute from The X-Files 2016 Reboot Series

Next Sunday and Monday on Fox, The X-Files will return to the small screen for the first time since 2002. The series which had 9 seasons with 202 episodes and 2 movies (almost a third one) has not been on the air in 14 years but its fandom has never given up on the show nor its beloved actors.

Chris Carter, the series original creator, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis will all be returning to the new series, along with newcomer, Joel Mchale.

The series will only run for 6 episodes which is sad but I am hoping this only means they are testing the waters for an audience to bring back the show on a permanent basis.

The above video is a quick preview of the first minute of the first episode. It's laced with X-Files goodness.

If you also haven't had a chance to watch the special feature "The X-Files Re-Opened" take a minute to watch this 20 minute piece about the new series. It will give you a good idea of what the new series is about without any spoilers.

I was a huge fan of this show back in the day and I still refuse to watch certain episodes of the show because they scared the hell out of me like the ones with Victor Tombs or the one with the cockroaches. I had a huge crush on Mulder and that ended after seeing David Duchovny in Californication. Seeing him naked with a big gut while he is banging some chick and then he pukes on a painting - not sexy at all. Lost my geeky love for him....

The Muppets Return to TV - Network Pilot Video

The Muppets are returning to prime time tv this fall via ABC and here's a first look at what was sent to ABC to convince them to put the Muppets back on the air, but it's not what the show is actually about.

The show is actually a behind the scenes show set on the background of Miss Piggy's talkshow, "Up Late with Miss Piggy". Here talkshow is a late night show which runs after Jimmy Kimmel and Kermit is Miss Piggy's Executive producer, Scooter is the talent co-coordinator, Gonzo is the head writer, along with Pepe and Rizzo, Fonzo is her sidekick on air, Bobo is the stage manager, and Sam Eagle is the broadcast standards for the network. Each Muppet basically has a role in the production of the show.

It's gonna be done in a documentary style much like The Office and feature lots of well known and old school Muppets, and lots of celebrity guests. I look forward to having my Muppets back on the small screen but I kind of wish they had done the show in the format of the original Muppet show with variety show acts.

By the way, Scully looks hot with blonde hair.

First Look: Bruce Campbell as Ash in Ash vs Evil Dead

Entertainment Weekly provided us with our first look of Bruce Campbell as Ash in the new Starz show, Ash vs Evil Dead. I am so looking forward to this show when it comes out in the fall. Always been a huge Bruce Campbell fan and my inner fangirl is drooling right now seeing Bruce back in his classic ash outfit with chainsaw and all.

Trailer: Supernatural Season Finale Promo

Are you ready for the end? Next week Season 9 of Supernatural comes to a close and we finally see how bad the effects of the Mark of Cain & the First Blade are really effecting Dean. Will Metatron bite the big one? Will Crowley survive or will Dean join his team? Did Gadreel suffer his encounter with Dean and the first blade? Will Sam and Cas come out of this alive? So many questions the fans are dying to know the answer too. Guess we will find out next week.

I look forward to answering the ultimate question which is "What is the one ending we haven't seen in the Supernatural fandom yet that the writers have been hinting at?" Could Dean go full dark side and join Crowley's team? That is something we haven't seen yet. No Winchester has yet go full monster mode and face his brother head on as the real big bad for the season. That could be an interesting Season 10.

TV Talk: Crowly Quotes

Great quote from last week's Supernatural episode. Gotta love a good villian and Crowley is one of the best.

TV Talk: How Jensen Ackles Sees the End of Supernatural

This is a beautiful idea on how to end the show but based on how the character of Dean is progressing Jensen should face the scary truth that it is more likely that Dean will die in the end and Sam will continue on without him.

After 9 Seasons of Supernatural, Dean has been to Hell and back, and I mean that literally. His character is so broken at this point, he would never be able to walk away from the hunter life and he certainly would not be able to function without his brother by his side. My prediction for the end of Supernatural will be the death of Dean as one last sacrifice to protect his little brother.

Trailer: Gotham TV Series

The official trailer for Gotham, the new TV series has finally hit the internet. The show which follows the rise of James Gordon from cop to commissioner, Bruce Wayne to Batman, and all of Gotham's villains from acne to Arkham inmates. From just the trailer alone, it's hard to get a sense of whether or not this show will grab the hearts of Batman fans without the actual Dark Knight gracing the screen, but I for one plan to tune into this show when it hits the airwaves to see what it will be all about.

Top Geekest Wedding Scenes: #4 Big Bang Theory - Horward and Bernadette's Wedding

This was another great moment on the Big Bang Theory. Howard and Bernadette finally get married and the gang performs the ceremony. Plus you see a tiny shot of Howard's mom for the first time ever as the camera pulls away - not much but at least it's something.

Top Geekest Wedding Scenes: #5 The Lois & Clark Wedding from Smallville

As a comic book geek, there is nothing more important in geeky wedding moments than the Lois and Clark wedding. It was a beautiful, touching scene and a perfect way to end the series.

Tru Blood is back!

Watched episode 1 of Season 4 last night and though the episode was slow to start I was overall impressed with the storyline. Most of the regular characters in Bon Temps were shown and their stories updated, and few new characters were introduced.
I can't wait for next week's episode and maybe I'll grab a couple of bottles of Tru Blood to slip on during the show. I found a store in the local mall that sells them and I'm dying to try them.
Check out the video above for a preview of next's week episode.
