Should I buy it?: Batman: Widening Gyre with custom Batman art.
So for my birthday I bought myself a copy of Batman: Cacophony with a custom piece of Batman artwork on the inside cover by artist, Walt Flanagan. It was a steal at $19.99 and it came all the way from Red Bank, New Jersey from Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash Comic Book Store, Home of the Comic Book Men TV show!
I am a big Kevin Smith fan and a Batman fan, so this was a cool buy.
So now the Secret Stash is offering Batman: Widening Gyre with custom Batman artwork by Walt Flanagan for $27.99, and I really want that too. Should I buy it?
Answer in the comments below today and I will go with the popular vote.

Trailer: Gotham TV Series
The official trailer for Gotham, the new TV series has finally hit the internet. The show which follows the rise of James Gordon from cop to commissioner, Bruce Wayne to Batman, and all of Gotham's villains from acne to Arkham inmates. From just the trailer alone, it's hard to get a sense of whether or not this show will grab the hearts of Batman fans without the actual Dark Knight gracing the screen, but I for one plan to tune into this show when it hits the airwaves to see what it will be all about.

Lost Sketches from J, Scott Campbell
I got introduced to an amazing and talented artist on Facebook a while back named J. Scott Campbell and each Tuesday he has been posting these great Lost sketches of each of the cast members. So far he has posted 15 sketches as seen above.
You can check out more of his work on his Facebook account, Deviant Art page and even buy some of his work on his official store website. J. Scott Campbell is a comic book artist who has done everything from G.I Joe to Spiderman to Danger Girl.

My Friends Rule - Me as Batgirl
I have a wicked artist friend, Eric DeSantis who created the pinup girl picture you see on my sidebar and he posts his artwork on a blog with other fellow artists. It's called Cup O'Doodle. Lately he's been doing comic book stuff and I challenged him to not only do Batman but do me as Batgirl. Today I found this - "Have Faith in Batgirl". Okay, girl scream!
Eric is so amazing for doing this. Please check out the Cup O'Doodle blog, his other blogs and buy his stuff. Support Eric and his amazing work!

Fan Expo 2010: Stan Lee is Coming!
Funny enough my boyfriend and I were just talking about whether or not, Stan Lee, Father of Marvel Comics has ever been to the Fan Expo in Toronto. We figured by this point he would have but we're wrong because Stan "The Man" Lee is coming to Fan Expo this year!
Fan Expo will be running from August 27th to the 29th and Stan Lee will be just one of many guests this year. The guest lists will be announced on the following dates this year:
Comic Book - May 13th
Horror - May 7th
Sci-Fi - May 10th
Anime - May 26th
Gaming - May 19th
Somehow I doubt this year will be as cool for me since last year I met my hero, Bruce Campbell but it would be pretty cool to meet Stan Lee. Geez, it's Stan Lee!
