New Resident Evil Commercial: WHAT THE F@#K CAPCOM!
I get the message they are trying to convey with Chris Redfield becoming so messed up from the events in Resident Evil 5 that he can no longer handle live anymore, but Capcom do you really need to promote suicide in your commercials to get that across?
The gaming industry gets enough of a beating everyday because it apparently warps young peoples' minds with violence and sex, and now you want to promote your game with images of suicide. Nice one, why don't you just throw in some rape and incest in your next marketing campaign too? With the racism and violence already in the game that will pretty much around out the all the worst offenses you could have.
Come on Capcom. You don't need to go down that road with your marketing, so let's clean it up and keep the horrible stuff down to a minimum.

Worst Gamer Product Ever
Gillette Razors has come out with a Gamer style razor blade promoted by the digital versions of Tiger Woods and Roger Federer. What does this have to do with gaming?
Nothing! Even the commercial is pretty badly done.

Sony Must Have a Cool New Marketing Team
The Playstation 3 Murals commerical that promotes games like LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2, plus the PS3's BluRay player, has got a unique art style and a very catchy tune that would make even an iPod commercial jealous.
The music in the commercial is called "Everybody Ona Move" by Michael Franti and Spearhead.
The commercial also does a great job of promoting the PSP's games and movie use.
Congrats Sony for finally moving away from commercials that confuse us or use talking rodents. Keep up the cool new marketing campaign.

Link's Awakening: Now with Puppets
The Japanese always have the best commercials.
This is a weird commercial for the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Gameboy. Gotta love anything with strange puppets. Too bad that puppet was available for sale because I know tons of fanboys who would purchase it in a second.

Ozzy Plays World of Warcraft
Ozzy Osbourne is now advertising World of Warcraft. The original Prince of Darkness goes up against the Lich King in this funny little commercial.
Ozzy has been taking an active role in other video games lately like Guitar Hero: World Tour with his excellent motion capture appearance. Good to see old media taking an interest in new media.

Retro Final Fantasy VI Commercial
This is a retro commercial for Final Fantasy VI (FFIII in the commercial cause it was the first release in North America) where you see a Moogle taking auditions for monsters for the new Final Fantasy game.
Pretty cute for an old commercial.

Gears of War 2 Commercial: Better than the Game.
How is it possible to love a game's marketing campaign so much but hate the game series itself?
Well, somehow that's the case with me and Gears of War. I really have no interest in the game and yet I love the commercials this game gets. Both the "Mad World" TV Spot and the new "How it Ends" Spot are great commercials, emotional and powerful stories told in such a short time span.
I'm going to try and play the new game but so far it sits on my shelf with only a few minutes put into the tutorial level. I suck ... I know.

Cowboy Jed! Come on Down to the Mario Kart Wii Emporium!
Funny that we're not getting these commercials up in Canada yet, but the Americans never got the joy of seeing our "Smokey and the Burt" Future Shop commercials, so I see us as getting the better deal here.
Nintendo is running this funny Cowboy Jed commercials in the US for Mario Kart Wii and you can see all three of them above. They're pretty funny and much better than the "We would like to play" commercials they kept using over and over again.
You can also watch the Burt below, because you have to see this commercial too. Its too funny. "Who do I talk to about gettn' the Burt in HD?"

Dragon Quest: Joker hits stores tomorrow!!!
Exclusive TV Spot for Dragon Quest: Joker.
The newest game in the Dragon Quest series hits stores tomorrow for the Nintendo DS and I can't wait to get my copy. Dragon Quest: Joker allows players to scout the world for monsters to join their ever growing army of monster teams. Much like Pokemon but with cool monsters and a kid with weird hair.
Look for a review of this game in the near future.

World of Warcraft Toyota Commercial
Four Wheels of Fury, baby! I am the Law Giver!
Dude, there's no trucks in World of Warcraft.
This is Toyota's newest commercial featuring the World of Warcraft universe. Personally I don't think that truck would be as cool as weapon as Toyota thinks. Where are players going to find gas after the tank runs dry?

Subway Video Game Commercial
I saw this commercial on tv a while back and have been patiently been waiting for someone to post it. This is really true but kids today. I play outside like crazy when I was a kid and I still had a Nintendo to play with.
Kids of today, you can still be geeky and be outside. Buy pretend swords and build a fort to defend like you do in Age of Empires. Buy remote controlled cars and find a big parking lot to play in.
Use your imagination once in a while for something other than your fan fiction stories.
