Yeah, tickles! The new Nintendo Wii may be out on the markets as early as late september or october. Rumors circulating the web have confirmed that Nintendo has gone into production of the Wii and will likely have it out before the PS3 launch date. Heck they'll probably even have more units than Sony since they're starting earlier on the production of the units.
I don't know about the rest of you but I'll be dancing a few extra days to buy the Wii and an Xbox 360, but the PS3 will just have to wait for the bugs to be worked out and the price to come down huge. $649.99 for a good system and then add a game or two, and another controller and you'd be looking at over $1000 for the bloody thing.
I DON'T THINK SO!
Worst with a possible lack of units at launch time, you probably will have a hard time buying one, just like most people when the XBox 360 launched. Of course if you really want one you could buy it for $300 plus the price on EBay.
Trust me, when you're looking for the over priced PS3 and you can find any because the lack of available units, that Nintendo Wii will be looking pretty nice sitting on the shelve with its $250 or lower price tag.
