Club Nintendo is Coming to North America!

Nintendo also announced yesterday that their famous Club Nintendo is finally making its way to North American shores.

The popular Club Nintendo already available in Europe, United Kingdom, Japan, South Africa and Australia, provides prizes to Nintendo fans in exchange for all their Nintendo purchases and participation in the club.

A lot of game companies create similiar websites or club to create hype for upcoming games and I have found some to be worth the effort to join as they do yield prizes after a while. Konami Stars was one such club and I managed to score at least 3 or 4 games and an art book from them just by referring people and particpating in the activitates.

Hopefully Club Nintendo will ship to Canada unlike SquareEnix who brought their fan site over here and managed Canadian sign up but not shipping or contest involvement.
