Well Canadian Gamers, I have grand news for you! Best Buy is holding Gaming Invasion 2007, a huge gaming event in Toronto from September 21, 2007 to the September 23, 2007 and everybody is going to be there. Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and a couple third party developers like Take Two, Activision, EA, Ubisoft and THQ.
Check out all the latest games from all these companies, go head to head with other gamers and win sweet prizes every hour on the hour.

September 21 @ 3pm - 9pm: Play Halo 3 for the first time ever!
September 22 @ 12pm - 8pm: Take part in the Guitar Hero III challenge
September 23 @ 12pm - 6pm: Check out Nintendo's lineup for the year

I was thinking about going up on the 23rd to see what Nintendo has on display, but otherwise I think this thing is pretty much going to be a bust. As much as I love gamers, something tells me an event like this is likely to reek of, as a high school teacher friend of mine once described the smell of teenagers, "an unhealthy mix of pot and Axe."
Still, so long as their not demo'ing games coming out in the next month exclusively like on day one and two, Nintendo's day should be a blast.
Come on Jim! This Week in Geek is going to be there. Now you have to come. LOL At least for the Halo 3 thing.
