Final Fantasy XII Gets Release Date (PS2)

Special collector's edition of Square-Enix's new RPG will also be available.

Finally, Square-Enix has revealed when Final Fantasy XII will arrive on US shores. The official release date for this new addition to the classic Final Fantasy series is October 31st. Japanese gamers got their hands on FFXII back in March. Since its release overseas, the game has managed to sell 2.4 million units. A limited number of special collector's edition FFXII games will be sold exclusively at GameStop and EB Games retail stores and websites. This version of the game will come with a bonus DVD that includes promo trailers from both America and Japan, an art gallery, developer interviews, and featurettes on the FF franchise.
