The History of Videogames: Animated


The history of videogames is an animated film created by Kyle Downes, a very talented multimedia and animation student from Australia. It was unveiled as his final project for his degree a couple of months ago and though not a lot of sites have been posted about it, when I saw it on Dark Diamond.net, I figured it was too amazing not to post about it too.

The video is short at about 3 minutes but its well worth the watch.

The Warcraft Retrospective: Part III




Part III of Gametrailer's history on the Warcraft franchise has finally surfaced and if you've been watching along with me on my blog, you've already checked out the first and second part of the retrospective.

Though I never really got into the World of Warcraft aspect of the franchise, I loved the RTS games in the series and even got my groove on to the disco remix on the expansion disc for Warcraft 2. Who here remembers that?

Warcraft II was the game that made me love real time strategy games and though I know I will have millions hate me for saying this, but I want a new Warcraft RTS game!! Blizzard is giving us a new Diablo, so how about a new Warcraft that isn't an MMO for once.

The Star Wars Retrospective Trailer



A while back Game trailers.com posted a series of videos that chronicled all the Final Fantasy games ever released and well, now it seems they are going to do the same for Star Wars. Check out the trailer for the video series that will begin posting on March 15th, 2008.
