Service for the Next Installment in the Award-Winning MMORPG Goes Live on November 22
LOS ANGELES (September 25, 2007) – Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix™ interactive entertainment products in North America, announced today that the next expansion pack for FINAL FANTASY® XI, WINGS OF THE GODDESS™, will ship to retailers across North America on November 20, 2007. Service for WINGS OF THE GODDESS officially goes live on November 22, 2007. Available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Windows® and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in a wide variety of SKUs, the latest expansion adds new jobs, new characters and new adventures to the ever-evolving world of Vana’diel®.
WINGS OF THE GODDESS will be available in five different SKUs:

During Tokyo Game Show 2007, Square Enix (Booth 3-S1) debuted an all-new trailer that unveils the new locations, beastmen and adventures coming up in WINGS OF THE GODDESS. This special trailer, which can now be seen at the official FINAL FANTASY XI Web site (http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/index.shtml), also marks the worldwide debut of an all-new job class, expanding adventurers’ possibilities in new and exciting ways. North American gamers will have the chance to experience this job at Fan Festival 2007, taking place at the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.
Accommodating players in North America, Europe and Japan, FINAL FANTASY XI is the first massively multiplayer online role-playing game capable of simultaneous multiplayer cooperation across three different platforms.
