News From Nintendo About the Wii!
















Nintendo has announed that the Nintendo Wii will be selling for $249.99 in North America, though the actually Canadian price has not been posted yet, and will be available in stores on November 19, 2006.















There will 4 Million units available worldwide, so you won't have to hunt hard to find one, and the Nintendo Wii will be shipped in a bundle featuring one Wii Console, Wii Sports, Wiimote (x1), Wiimote Handstrap, Nunchuck controller, AC adaptor, A/V Cable, Wii Console Stand, Support Plate,Sensor Bar, Sensor Bar Stand, and AA Batteries (x2).

The consoles will be region free, so you can play it anywhere with an nintendo wii game in the world, but the console will not support DVD playback.

Online play will be free, but you will have to spend Nintendo points to download the opera program to surf the web on your Wii.

You can buy prepaid points cards at stores for $20 for 2000 points and then spend them on virtual download games for the following:

NES games will cost 500 Wii Points, SNES games will cost 800 Wii points, and N64 games will cost 1000 Wii Points.
