I can see how someone could make that mistake after seeing the other picture because your hair color nearly matches.
I was that someone. Like I said, it's the hair color, and since you don't like to show off your face, (we seem to have that much in common) I guessed.
Plus, the way Destructoid was written, it sounded like you'd submitted multiple photos.
