Super Mario Galaxy: the SNES version?
Who says 2D games are over? Some games would have easily translated onto the other systems. Take Super Mario Galaxy ... looks pretty darn good as a 2D game. I would have played it.

Amazing 2D Vision of Okami
Pixel joint user, 7even has created this really neat screen shot of what Okami could have look ed like if it was a 2D game back in the glory days of Super Nintendo. I really love this piece and may try to turn it into a couple of bead sprite pieces.
