Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded and Other E3 Square Enix Games
Got the official list of E3 games from Square Enix today and low and behold there's a new Kingdom Hearts game listed on there - Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded. Now its for the Nintendo DS, so this cannot be the official sequel to Kingdom Hearts 2 but the description of the game does suggest that the game plot does continue after the events of Kingdom Hearts 2, so at least we have progress here. Still the game is not called Kingdom Hearts 3, so its not the official sequel.
Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded Official Description:
Also on the list of E3 games was games like The 3rd Birthday, Dungeon Siege 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, Front Mission Evolved, Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and 2 Tales of Bearsworth Manor titles.
I'm looking forward to the new Dungeon Siege 3, Kingdom Hearts titles, Tomb Raider and anything Final Fantasy. Hopefully Square Enix will deliver some good titles this year.
Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded Official Description:
"Sora’s journey in KINGDOM HEARTS II has drawn to a close, and now a new tale is set to begin. Jiminy Cricket is looking over the journal he used to document his first adventure with Sora when he discovers a mysterious message. He didn’t write it – so how on earth did it get there? King Mickey is determined to find out, so he and his friends decide to digitize the journal and delve into its deepest secrets. Inside this “datascape” dwells a second Sora who is about to embark on a grand adventure of his very own."Again, this doesn't sound like an official sequel as it doesn't have anything to do with the secret ending found at the end of KH2.

Holiday Review Guide: Part 2 - Nintendo DS Games
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box
Nintendo, Level- 5
Available for Nintendo DS
Professor Layton and his assistant, Luke are back in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, the sequel to the highly successful adventure puzzle game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village. After a close friend of the Professor is killed by apparently the curse of the mysterious Elysian Box, the dynamic duo board a train in order to solve the murder and prove the box’s curse is not behind it.
Full of grand new puzzles and tons of new locations to explore, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box not only matches the fun and challenge of the first game, it surpasses it. I will note this is a fairly challenging game and though it’s age rating 10 and up, its harder puzzles might be too difficult for anyone below a high school level. Puzzle and adventure genre fans will love this series and I highly recommend picking up this title and the first if you haven’t already.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Square Enix, Disney Interactive Studios
Available for the Nintendo DS
Fans have been waiting a long time for a Kingdom Hearts II sequel and well, they just have to keep waiting because the newest title in the series, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days is an inter-sequel, a game which takes place between the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II. This time the game focuses on Roxas and all his time spend with the organization leading up to the starting events of Kingdom Hearts II.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days’ control system is easy to use – no silly stylus controls to confuse things and the story line really gives you a chance to discover more background info on Roxas and the organization. While I would prefer to see Kingdom Hearts III out on store shelves, as long as Square Enix is shipping some sort of Kingdom Heart title, I guess I can’t complain. Overall, this isn’t the most action packed Kingdom Hearts game in the series but this game is better than no game.

Scribblenauts
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, 5th Cell
Available for Nintendo DS
Most games are what the developers make it but with the newest title from 5th Cell and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Scribblenauts is what you make it. Imagine being able to write any word down and having that object appear – well, that’s the concept behind Scribblenauts. Each puzzle in the game gives you an endless stream of possibilities on how to solve them and all from just writing a single word.
The entertainment value alone comes from the endless fun you can have from seeing what objects you can find in the game’s built-in dictionary but the game itself needs some work before it can live up to its original design promise. The controls were a bit off and the instructions in some of the puzzles were a bit unclear making puzzle completion impossible. Overall, this game’s unique concept had huge potential but certain failed elements need to be fixed before this game can truly be successful.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story
Nintendo, AlphaDream
Available for the Nintendo DS
In Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, the Mushroom Kingdom is in trouble again and only the Mario Brothers can bring peace back to the Kingdom with the help of Bowser ... wait, what? Yep, that’s right. After a Fawful, the new bad guy in the Mushroom Kingdom infects the inhabitants with a horrible disease and causes Bowser to swallow the Mario Brothers, the Princess and their friends whole, it’s up to Bowser and the Brothers to work together to stop Fawful from taking over the entire kingdom.
Fans of the brothers will love this cute throwback to the old RPG Mario series with fabulous new graphics, hilarious voice-overs and tons of sweet Mario action. You’ll be able to take control of both the Brothers and Bowser in a neat duel screen system and explore the inner workings of one of gaming history’s most famous villains, Bowser. Trust me when I say Super Mario Bros. Wii won’t be the only Mario game selling like hotcakes this Holiday season.

Piece for Sale: Cloud from Kingdom Hearts
I finally mounted my Cloud Kingdom Hearts piece onto a background. I used some red bristol board and some stryofoam/cardboard backing I found at the local discount store. The edges aren't perfect on the board but I would figure this piece would be better framed in the end anyway. The board measures 19 inches high, 18 inches wide and 0.4 inches thick.
I'm selling the piece at $30.00 plus a shipping. (Please contact me at thegirlgamer.net@gmail.com about shipping costs for this piece.) I'm not putting this item on Etsy right away due to the shipping costs. Too expensive to do flat rate for Etsy.

Epic 8-Bit Bead Art: Cloud from Kingdom Hearts & More
I've been a busy girl this weekend. Beading up a storm for both myself and customers, I made a ton of wicked videogame pieces.
At the top of the page is my favorite - Cloud from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
I also finished my Mana Spirits set and Neko the Cat from Secret of Mana.
And I made Zero from the Mega Man series and a Ninja from Final Fantasy Tactics.
I still have a whole bunch of orders to finish like three new Monkey Island pieces that I will post when finished.

Epic 8-Bit Art: Kingdom Hearts Sora and Roxas
Every week I check out the work my fellow bead crafters are creating, and time and time again I find something new that blows me away.Serena Azureth is one of those people that continually impresses me with her unique art pieces and custom work. This week she created a custom Sir Didymus from Labyrinth which I posted on Attack This.net and today I found she created the very cool Sora and Roxas pieces you see posted above.
The sprites were created by Deviant Art Artist, Abyss Wolf, but the art pieces created completely in plastic fused beads were made by Serena.

CURSE SQUARE ENIX FOR BRINGING KINGDOM HEARTS RE: CHAINS OF MEMORIES OUT NOW IN NORTH AMERICA ON THE PLAYSTATION 2! WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE BROUGHT IT OUT WHEN I ACTUALLY HAD A PS2 TO PLAY IT ON?!!!!
Considering how many people might not have a PS2 or a backwards compatible PS3 this is just a really evil move to pull on all of your KH fans. You couldn't have put it on the PS3 format as well? Who cares about the damn graphics!

Neo-Heartless and Dusk Nobody My Little Ponies
The newest trend on the net is the creation of custom My Little Ponies and I've been finding quite a few cool videogame themed pieces like Xylia's Kingdom Hearts pieces. His Neo-Heartless (Pictured above) and Dusk Nobody (Below) are pretty sweet looking. He has unfortunately sold the pieces already, so you won't be able to own this pieces yourself, but he does have several mini versions of the Dusk Nobody available for $20 a piece.
Check out his original post on Livejournal's Girl Gamers to see the mini versions.

Leaked Kingdom Hearts - Birth By Sleep Trailer - Translated
Apparently someone leaked the trailer for the new Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep game for the PSP and though I missed this video released when it came out a complete of days ago, I did find the translated version of the video today.
There does seem to be a couple of spots where maybe the person forgot to translated or something, because someone is talking but there isn't any words on the screen, but all in all, the words seem to fit what's going on.
There seems to be two new key characters - Terra and his Master, plus a new enemy type or character that tries to attack Roxas, when Mickey shows up to protect him. It looks like the game might have a storyline that involves Roxas trying to fill in the missing pieces in his memories.
GOD I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!
